Telus Targets $900 Million in Cost Cuts
Telus is launching a multi-year efficiency program targeting approximately $900 million in annualized cash savings by the time it exits 2028. About 80% of those savings will come from the company's core telecom business, with the remainder from its global platform units, including Telus Digital. Telus says the program will support balance sheet deleveraging while the company keeps funding growth in AI infrastructure and its PureFibre network. Shares of $TU trade on the TSX and the NYSE.
