Duke Energy's Q3 EPS Beats, Guidance Narrows
Duke Energy ($DUK) reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings per share of $1.99, up from $1.81 a year earlier, as electricity demand keeps climbing across its service territory. The utility narrowed its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $6.70 to $6.80. Duke is also building toward 16 gigawatts of additional generation capacity by 2031 to keep pace with rising power use, including the load coming from new data centers.
