Anthropic Posts $17B Revenue, $23B Paper Loss

Anthropic's amended IPO filing shows revenue of $17 billion for the third quarter, up from $11.6 billion in the prior quarter. The company, headed toward Nasdaq under the proposed ticker $ANT, posted an operating loss of only $567 million. The filing's headline net loss of $23.3 billion comes almost entirely from a non-cash accounting charge on the rising value of its convertible notes, not from cash burn.
