Short-Term Treasury Yields Top 4.1 Percent
The U.S. Treasury sold $82 billion of six-month bills on Monday at a high rate of 4.150%, above the 4.040% rate set hours earlier on three-month bills. The premium on the longer bill shows investors still see little room for the Federal Reserve to cut rates quickly, a backdrop that has kept $TLT stuck in its recent range.
