GOOGLE LOCKS LONG-TERM NUCLEAR POWER DEAL
Alphabet's Google ($GOOGL) signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Constellation Energy ($CEG) that adds 890 megawatts of new nuclear capacity to the PJM grid, backed by more than $4.3 billion in reactor upgrades. That new nuclear capacity is just a quarter of the 3,590 megawatts Google secured from Constellation in total. The deal shows how AI data center demand is pushing hyperscalers straight into atomic power.
