ADP: PRIVATE HIRING PICKS UP TO 23,750 A WEEK

US private employers added an average of 23,750 jobs per week in the four weeks ending September 19, up from 22,500 the prior period, according to ADP's weekly NER Pulse. The pace has climbed steadily from 16,750 in the four weeks ending August 29 and 20,000 through September 5. At the current rate, that is roughly 95,000 private jobs over four weeks.
