
TRUMP: BECTON DICKINSON TO INVEST $3B TO ONSHORE MEDICAL MANUFACTURING
President Trump said Becton Dickinson ($BDX), one of the largest medical device makers, has agreed to invest $3 billion to onshore production of essential medical products such as syringes, needles and lab kits. The biggest expansion will be in Nebraska, where BD will invest over $1 billion, including needles made with American steel. Trump credited his medical device tariffs, which he said will be in place by the end of the year. BD shares closed Monday at $180.67, up 2.2%.
