BITCOIN TOPS $86,000, STILL BELOW JANUARY 1

Bitcoin $BTC climbed back above $86,000 on Sunday, nearly 15% above its mid-September low on Coinbase. Even so, it still trades below the level where 2026 began and about 32% under its record from October 6, 2025, a peak that turns one year old this week.
