Schneider Electric is close to a deal worth about $20 billion to acquire industrial software maker PTC, the Financial Times reported, with an announcement possible as early as Monday. The price tag sits roughly 28% above PTC's $15.63 billion market value, underscoring the French group's push into AI-driven industrial software. Shares of $PTC rallied on the report after the company raised its revenue forecast back in July.
