XAI TARGETS 1.2 MILLION BLACKWELL CHIPS

Elon Musk says xAI's Colossus 2 data center in Memphis currently runs 110,000 Nvidia GB200 chips plus 440,000 GB300 chips, and plans to add 660,000 more GB300s in three batches of 220,000 by late December. That rollout would push the cluster's Blackwell-class GPU count to roughly 1.21 million by year-end, more than double today's 550,000. The buildout underscores how deep Nvidia's order book for AI data centers runs, with $NVDA chips the bottleneck resource for every major AI lab's expansion plans.
