ENTERGY RAISES DIVIDEND, GROWTH RATE SLOWS

Entergy's board raised the quarterly dividend to $0.68 per share from $0.64, a 6.25% increase announced October 30. The utility added the same $0.04 per share it did a year ago, when the raise worked out to 6.67% off a smaller base. $ETR has paid a dividend every quarter since 1988, even as it pours capital into nuclear restarts and data-center power deals across Louisiana and Arkansas.
