S&P TURNS NEGATIVE ON META'S CASH FLOW
S&P Global revised its outlook on Meta Platforms to negative from stable, warning that the scale of its AI spending is straining the company's finances. The agency now projects Meta's free operating cash flow deficit will widen from $39 billion in 2026 to $71 billion in 2027, as capital expenditures climb toward $140 billion a year. S&P said leverage could rise above 1.0x by 2027, the threshold it holds for Meta's AA- credit rating. $META shares have fallen for five straight weeks.
