Binance's hot wallets lost $5.57 billion across three blockchains on October 29, with $3.51 billion flowing out on Ethereum, $1.44 billion in Bitcoin, and $630 million on Tron. Tether and Circle froze $1.8 billion combined, about 975 million USDT and 823 million USDC, limiting the attacker's ability to cash out. Binance has not confirmed any impact to user funds and says it is still investigating, while $BTC fell below $79,000 and BNB dropped roughly 7% to around $699 in the aftermath.
