Amazon's cloud unit grew three times faster than the rest of the company in the third quarter. AWS sales rose 39% to $46 billion, while total net sales climbed just 12% to $201.9 billion. Operating income hit $28.1 billion, Amazon's highest operating margin ever at 13.9%, as diluted EPS came in at $1.89. The $AMZN report shows a company increasingly carried by its cloud business.
