BOSTON SCIENTIFIC CUTS GUIDANCE AFTER CYBER BREACH
Boston Scientific posted third-quarter net sales of $5.14 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $0.73, matching its own forecast. But the medical device maker trimmed its full-year 2026 sales growth guidance to roughly 4.25% on a reported basis and set full-year adjusted EPS guidance at $3.16 to $3.18. CEO Mike Mahoney tied the slower outlook directly to the cybersecurity incident first reported on August 26, which disrupted operations and is still being factored into the company's financial results. $BSX fell on the announcement.
