JETBLUE WIDENS LOSS BUT HOLDS 2027 TARGET
JetBlue's operating loss widened to $144 million in the third quarter, a -5.1% operating margin, from $100 million a year earlier, as average fuel prices jumped 57% year over year. Revenue still rose 21.1% to $2.8 billion, helped by an 18.4% jump in unit revenue. JetBlue reaffirmed its target of sustained operating profitability in 2027 and at least $1 in earnings per share by 2028, betting that revenue momentum outruns higher fuel costs. $JBLU remains in the red even as demand holds up.
