NUCOR PROFIT MORE THAN DOUBLES ON STEEL PRICES

Nucor's net earnings hit $1.32 billion in the third quarter, more than double the $607 million it made a year earlier, as steel prices surged. The steelmaker's average selling price climbed to $1,493 per ton, up 19% from $1,258 a year ago. $NUE is riding the sharpest pricing rebound the company has posted since the 2025 slump.
