VERIZON POSTS RECORD EBITDA, SIGNS AI CLOUD DEAL

Verizon's third-quarter adjusted EBITDA hit $13.8 billion, the highest quarterly figure in the company's history, as postpaid phone net additions jumped more than 820% year-over-year to 406,000. $VZ also signed an agreement worth more than $2 billion with Amazon Web Services to scale distributed compute for agentic and generative AI workloads, its clearest move yet beyond the wireless business. Revenue rose 1.5% to $34.3 billion and free cash flow climbed 12.1% to $7.8 billion.
