● BRENT CRUDE HITS SIX-MONTH HIGH ON SAUDI ATTACKS
Brent crude settled at $116.72 a barrel on Friday, its highest close since April, after Houthi rebels struck Saudi energy infrastructure and Aramco evacuated its Dhahran headquarters. The global benchmark climbed 6% for the week, more than double the 2.3% weekly gain in West Texas Intermediate, tracked by $USO. The gap shows how much of this rally is a geopolitical risk premium concentrated in the benchmark most exposed to the Middle East, rather than a supply shock felt equally everywhere.
