EUROZONE PMI MISSES AS FRANCE RELAPSES
Eurozone business activity lost momentum faster than expected in October. The preliminary composite PMI from S&P Global and HCOB fell to 51.9, down from a three-and-a-half-year high of 53.1 in September and below the 52.7 consensus forecast. France slipped back into contraction after its brief expansion in September, while German growth also cooled. The miss complicates the growth narrative the ECB has leaned on to justify holding rates, leaving $FEZ investors facing a shakier eurozone outlook.
