JETBLUE CREDITORS HIRE RESTRUCTURING ADVISER
JetBlue's senior bondholders have hired restructuring adviser PJT Partners as the airline's stock and debt extend a steep slide. Shares ($JBLU) are down 42% so far this year, and the carrier held just $1.66 billion in cash against $8.5 billion in debt and finance leases as of June 30. Rising fuel costs have deepened the cash burn.
