AT&T PROFIT COLLAPSES ON MEXICO WRITEDOWN
AT&T's reported profit crashed to $0.13 a share in the third quarter, dragged by a writedown tied to the sale of its Mexico wireless unit, even as adjusted earnings rose to $0.65 a share and revenue climbed to $32.3 billion. The carrier raised its 2026 profit outlook on the back of fiber and wireless subscriber growth. $T shares held steady as investors looked past the one-time charge tied to the Mexico sale.
