MICROSOFT EXITS NSCALE UK SITE AS IPO LOOMS
Microsoft has walked away as anchor tenant at Nscale's flagship UK data center in Loughton, Essex, which was set to house 23,000 Nvidia chips for Microsoft Azure. The exit lands weeks after Nscale's IPO filing showed Microsoft commitments made up about 42% of its $103.4 billion contracted backlog. UK authorities now say power won't reach the site until the early-to-mid 2030s, versus the 2027 start originally planned. $MSFT just pulled its biggest named customer relationship out of the company's own IPO pitch.
