EL SALVADOR BITCOIN STASH GROWS TO 7,798 COINS

El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office says the country's sovereign reserve climbed to 7,798 $BTC, worth roughly $643 million at current prices, up from 6,070 coins at the start of 2025. Officials say the recent additions came from private donations rather than public purchases, after the IMF required the government to keep Treasury funds out of Bitcoin buys under its credit program. The reserve keeps growing even though the state itself has stopped spending on it directly.
