NASDAQ'S WORST WEEK SINCE JUNE SPARES DOW
The Nasdaq Composite fell 4.5% this week, its worst weekly drop since June, as renewed doubts about AI spending hit chip and cloud stocks the hardest. The S&P 500 slipped 1.9% over the same five days. The Dow Jones, lighter on tech names, still gained 0.7% for the week even after Friday's losses. The split shows investors pulling back from the priciest AI-linked names inside $QQQ while staying with industrial and value stocks that make up the Dow.
