FED HIKE ODDS FOR OCTOBER SINK TO 13%
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh declined to signal the central bank's next move on rates, naming only the October 28 and December meetings as the moments policymakers will take stock. Prediction markets reacted fast: the odds of an October hike sank to 13%, down from a peak above 40% earlier this week after hot inflation data, while traders still price a 78% chance of a hike by December. Treasuries ($TLT) are betting the Fed waits, not that it's done.
