GTCR-LED GROUP TAKES CCC INTELLIGENT PRIVATE

A consortium led by private equity firm GTCR, joined by activist fund Elliott Investment Management, is taking $CCC Intelligent Solutions private for $7.75 a share in cash, an enterprise value of about $6.1 billion. That price is a 44% premium to CCC's unaffected closing price on July 9, but a steeper 59% premium once measured against the stock's 30-day average heading into the deal. The transaction has board approval and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027.
