FRENCH BOND YIELDS HIT HIGHEST SINCE 2002
France's 10-year bond yield touched 5% last week, a level unseen since July 2002, as the spread over German Bunds widened to its widest since the 2011 eurozone debt crisis. France's debt load has climbed to 119% of GDP, up from 115.6% a year earlier, even as the government keeps missing its deficit targets. Investors in $EWQ are now pricing in a fiscal problem Europe thought it had left behind.
