TECH BILLIONAIRES ADD $845 BILLION IN 2026

Tech's roughly 100 billionaires added a combined $845 billion to their fortunes in the first nine months of 2026, the strongest nine-month start on record, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Every billionaire outside tech lost $62 billion combined over the same stretch. Elon Musk alone accounted for $310 billion of the tech gain, as Tesla ($TSLA) and his AI-linked holdings kept climbing while non-tech fortunes shrank.
