LONDON HEDGE FUND ARINI SINKS 15.7% YTD
Arini Capital, the $22 billion London credit fund run by former Credit Suisse trader Hamza Lemssouguer, has fallen 15.7% so far this year after a third straight monthly loss, down 7.6% in September alone. The slide traces to souring distressed-debt bets on Aston Martin ($AML) and Altice International, companies the fund once bet big on turning around. A manager known for bold contrarian trades is now unwinding them.
