IRAN REFUSES TO GIVE UP URANIUM ENRICHMENT
Iran's atomic energy chief Mohammad Eslami said Tehran will not abandon enrichment, calling it an "integral part" of its nuclear program. The answer comes a day after U.S. Vice President JD Vance said Iran must make a "meaningful" cut to its enrichment capacity to end the seven-month war. Iran is not known to be enriching right now, but the IAEA believes a little over 200 kg of uranium enriched to 60% is still stored at Isfahan. A hard no on the key U.S. demand keeps the war premium in oil.
