UK 30-YEAR GILT YIELD BREAKS 6% AGAIN
Britain's 30-year gilt yield pushed back above 6% on October 7, days after first crossing that level on October 1 for the first time since 1998. The pound ($GBP) slid to 1.3210 against the dollar as markets priced an 81% chance the Bank of England hikes rates in November. London's borrowing costs are stuck at a 28-year high.
