MALAYSIA STOCKS SLIDE TO LOWEST LEVEL SINCE MID-DECEMBER 2025

Malaysia's benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI fell about 1% on Wednesday to around 1,616, down from Tuesday's close of 1,633.35. That is the index's lowest close since December 10, 2025, when it finished at 1,611. The drop wipes out the narrow range the KLCI had held near 1,630 since the start of October.
