JAGUAR UNVEILS ITS FIRST NEW CAR IN EIGHT YEARS: A $172,000 ELECTRIC GT

Jaguar unveiled the Type 01 in New York, a fully electric grand tourer priced at £130,000 ($172,000) and the first model of the brand's reboot as a luxury EV maker. Orders open in early 2027, more than two years after Jaguar stopped selling new cars in the UK to remake itself. The Type 01 is the production version of the Type 00 concept shown in December 2024. Jaguar is part of JLR, owned by India's Tata Motors.
