US DIESEL AND GASOLINE PRICES FALL FOR A SECOND WEEK

US retail fuel prices fell for a second straight week in the week ending October 5, according to the Energy Information Administration. Diesel dropped 18 cents to $6.20 a gallon and regular gasoline fell 11 cents to $4.35. Both are still far above a year ago: diesel is up $2.49 a gallon and gasoline is up $1.23.
