TRUMP SAYS THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR IS GETTING CLOSER TO ENDING

President Trump said the war between Russia and Ukraine is getting closer to ending. The comment comes after Zelensky said Sunday that the US has proposed new three-way talks by the end of October, possibly hosted by the United Arab Emirates, and that Ukraine responded positively. On the ground, Russia's Defense Ministry pledged to intensify strikes on Kyiv after a drone hit the city's Northern Bridge on Saturday.
